Our Story

At Blacks In, we shine a light on stories that matter to the Black community—past, present, and future. From honoring the legacies of trailblazers who shaped our history to amplifying the voices driving change today, we are dedicated to telling our stories with depth, truth, and pride. Our mission is to inform, inspire, and empower by delivering news that reflects the richness of Black culture, the resilience of our journey, and the brilliance of our contributions to the world.

The future of our community begins in K–12 classrooms. When African American students receive high-quality education and learn the truth of Black history, they gain the confidence and pride to succeed. Culturally relevant teaching and equitable resources open doors to graduation, college, and careers.Education is more than academics—it is the foundation of economic empowerment. Strong schools create strong families, thriving businesses, and revitalized neighborhoods. By closing opportunity gaps and teaching our full history, we honor the past and invest in a stronger future.
